A guy blessed with an able body, a creative and curious mind, and a relentless drive to reach the goals I’ve set for myself. There are many things I can do as a guy. However, there’s one obvious thing that my body was never set up to do.

Carry a child.

I will never truly know how it feels to be pregnant, no matter how much I know about how the human body works. Who am I to tell a woman what to do with their body? @WayToWinUs

Just as I don’t believe that I have the right to tell someone else what to do with their body, I don’t believe that extremists in the Republican party have the right to force a woman to act against her best interests as it relates to her own body. Instituting a nationwide ban on abortion while restricting access to contraception will only do more harm than good and will disproportionately affect women of color, low-income women, and rural women.

President Biden signed an executive order protecting access to reproductive health care services soon after Roe v. Wade was struck down, which underscores the importance of a woman’s right to make her own reproductive health care decisions without interference from the government.

As a guy, I’ve been able to move through life and take a number of things for granted simply because I’m a man. No matter how I feel about the topic of abortion, I don’t have any business taking away the right of what a woman can do with her body. #VotingMatters #CivicEngagement #FreedomToThrive
